Clowning

Roe Goda aka SU-Z-QUE-Clown has been clowning around for over twenty years. She has over the years attended Barnum & Bailey Clown Camp in Wisconsin and many, many Christian Clown Conferences. Roe was co-founder of the "Healing Hearts Ministry" which is a hospital ministry, she believes that humour influences health. As a member of Fools for Christ she has conducted many Sunday School Rallies and Clown Worship Services. She recently taught clowning techniques at Butler Community College in Butler, Pennsylvania.

Donna Elser aka COUNTRY BUMPKIN has been clowning for twelve years. Although she has her own business of birthday parties, office picnics etc her heart belongs to Christian Ministry. Donna is very active in her church and is a member of Fools for Christ, Tri Rivers Clown Alley and World Clown Association. She has taught clowning techniques at various camps for children. She is noted for her gentle demeaner.

Dance and Movement
Emily Katzenbach - Emily is a certified leader of "Interplay" Improvisation Technique and directs the Sounds True Performance Troupe comprised of high school students who create and perform pieces addressing relevant teen social issues. General issues addressed are peer pressure, identity formation, rumors, teasing and cliques. Specific issues are drug/alcohol use and addiction, teen violence and grief. The Troupe's mission is to put on performances that will educate and inspire adolescents to make healthy choices, develop positive attitudes, gain responsibility and respect others. Emily holds a masters degree in Dance/Movement Therapy and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

 

Char Guess-Bardques calls herself a 'Spirit Dancer', because when she dances, she feels the presence of God. Char has danced Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Flamenco, and African-Caribbean dance. She has been an instructor and performer for the 'Movida' Dance Company. Char has also been a Phoenix workshop presenter She is a drummer and a percussionist. Char has been a Liturgical dancer/instructor for the Immaculate Conception Liturgical dancers. Char will guide you through the development of preparing for Worship.

Storytelling

Leah Ruekberg is a storyteller and teaching artist who specializes in turning trouble into tales. A preacher's kid, she was raised on the buckle of the Bible Belt and was notorious for getting into trouble: it was her job! She is blessed to have a father who has filled her life with stories galore. She tells her version of the family stories in schools, libraries, churches, festivals and conferences. The sweetest words she hears from students are, "I really like your stories. They make me think about my life.
